MY SPECIALTIES
NAVIGATING LIFE TRANSITIONS
Life is full of transitions—whether it's graduating college, starting a new job, ending a relationship, becoming a parent, or facing retirement. These changes can bring a mix of excitement, uncertainty, and stress. I provide a supportive space to help you navigate these shifts with clarity and confidence.
WORKING THROUGH DIFFICULT RELATIONSHIPS
Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also bring pain, confusion, and conflict. Whether you're facing challenges with a partner, family member, friend, or colleague, we will work together to help you understand the dynamics at play and find healthier ways to communicate, set boundaries, and connect.
STRESS AND BURNOUT
Burnout and chronic stress can leave you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from the things that once mattered most. Whether it's the pressure of work, caregiving, or simply trying to keep up with daily life, it's easy to lose sight of your own needs. Counseling will help you slow down, understand the sources of your stress, and develop practical tools to restore balance and well-being. You deserve to feel grounded, supported, and in control of your life again.
MAKING PEACE WITH THE UNKNOWN
Facing the unknown can stir up fear, anxiety, and a sense of helplessness. It's natural to feel unsteady, but building resilience, trusting your inner strength, and developing coping skills can help. Together, we’ll explore ways to stay present, grounded, and open—even when the path ahead isn’t clear. Peace is possible, even when answers are not.
PARENTING DIFFICULTIES
Parenting a child who has frequent outbursts can be emotionally draining. This is a common challenge, and you are not alone. I offer compassionate support and practical strategies to help you better understand your child’s behavior, manage challenging moments, and strengthen your connection through play therapy with your child and corresponding parent coaching.
GIFTED AND 2E CHILDREN
Twice-exceptional (2e) children—those who are both gifted and have learning differences or other challenges—often experience the world in unique and intense ways. Their strengths may mask their struggles, or their struggles may overshadow their gifts, leaving them misunderstood or unsupported. I focus on honoring their strengths, addressing their challenges with empathy, and fostering a sense of confidence and belonging. Every 2e child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated for who they truly are.
